Welcome to our Celestial Kyrgyz Land! We want to present you a great trip for tourists who like wild nature and trekking. We made a special trip that will take place on the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. During this trip you will see our famous lake and real nomads. You will sleep not only in guesthouses but also in yurts - traditional nomadic dwellings made of wood and felt.


Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a good breakfast. After accommodation in a hotel*** that is situated in a clam part of the city you will have a rest. Afterwards you will have an excursion to Natural Park Ala-Archa. It is situated in the Ala-Arch gorge, on the Kyrgyz range (a spur of Tien-Shan), in 45 km from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will climb to the top of a mountain to have a nice view of this famous gorge. After walking in the gorge you will return to Bishkek where you will have traditional dinner at 7 p.m. Night in a Hotel***. 
 
Day 2: Bishkek - Jukku gorge
Breakfast will be served at 7 o'clock. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Jukku gorge by bus and your guide will tell you interesting facts about nomads' life, customs and their unusual traditions. On the way, we will drive through the spectacular Boom gorge. Then will continue our way to the Jukku gorge along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, which is the second largest mountain lake in the world (1608 m. above sea level). The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". On the way we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). When we come to Jukku gorge you will have hiking through the gorge to our tent camp. Dinner will be served in the camp. You will also spend the night there. 
 
Day 3: Jukku gorge
Today you will have acclimatization in Jukku gorge, where you will have a chance to explore its nature on your own. You can hike along the unbelievable gorge to take a bath in mineral hot water springs; go on its nearest peaks, visit red mountains or just relaxing in the atmosphere of calm nature. There are marvelous mountains, red rocks, and a cave that is called "500 rams". It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. We still have nomads who  live in yurts and come to this summer pastures with their cattle and they are very hospitable and friendly. It is possible to try national drink Kumis (alcohol mare's milk) there. National dinner will be served you at 7 p.m. You will see the way of national food making and you will have a chance even to participate in this process in order to be closer to nomads' life.   
 
Day 4: Jukku gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu
After breakfast we are off for a hike through the beautiful gorge Jukka (2520m above sea level) to the wonderful gorge Chon Kyzyl Suu. You will hike along the Great Silk Road as ancient traders did. During this unforgettable tour you will see our celestial mountains and terrific views of its pristine nature. You will stop for a night at the campsite based right in the gorge in wild nature. 
 
Day 5: Chon Kyzyl Suu
After a good breakfast, we will leave the camp at 9 a.m. and start our hiking trip to the marvelous Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After the lunch you will have an ascent to an incredible mountain lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Our cookers will teach you the way of national meals making. You can even participate in the process of national dish "plov" cooking. You will feel as if you are 1000 thousand years ago in wild Tien Shan Mountains. This place is far from civilization and you can completely relax there. 
 
Day 6: Chon Kyzyl Suu - Djeti Oguz
After a tasty breakfast we will start our way to impressive Djeti Oguz gorge. You will have hiking along picturesque places and you will be surprised how changeable our mountains. They change views so fast that you do not notice the number of times. 
 
Day 7: Djeti Oguz - Oguz Bashi - Djeti Oguz
Today you will have hiking up to the Oguz Bashi glacier. You will see many yurts on the way. A yurta is an original nomad's dwelling (traditional house). It is made of a wooden skeleton covered by felt. This is a collapsible dwelling that is built without metal nails. You will have a nice picnic with a view of the glacier and then we will return to our camp.
 
Day 8: Djeti Oguz
In the morning you will have time to walk in this spectacular gorge. You will have several guides and that is why you can choose what to do. Some of you can hike to a mountain waterfall; others can go down the gorge to a resort that was built during Soviet time. It will be possible to take a bath with hot springs and have massage there. You can also hike to the Red rocks that have unusual forms. Because of these rocks the whole gorge was named. Djeti Oguz that means "7 bulls". Indeed from a far distance it looks like huge bulls. Also you will see there the Broken Heart Mountain and your guides will tell you a beautiful legend about it. In the evening you will taste our national meal - kurdak. You can also participate in its making to find out all secrets of nomadic cuisine. During your farewell mountain dinner you will enjoy Kyrgyz Folklore show. You will listen to our nomadic songs and unusual national Kyrgyz instruments. 
 
Day 9: Djeti Oguz - Issyk Kul Lake
After packing your backpacks, you will be served breakfast at 9 o'clock Then you will have
hiking down to the Djeti Oguz gorge. It has a fast mountain river that flows along the whole gorge. When we come to the bottom of the gorge you can walk for 15 minutes on the top of the nearest mountain - there is a terrific view on Djeti Oguz rocks and red mountains around! Then you will be transferred to the northern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake which is second largest mountain lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". Dinner will be served in a guesthouse, where you will also spend the night. 
 
Day 10: Issyk Kul - Bishkek
You will have breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we will start our tour back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). In Bishkek you will have time to go for a walk around the city and to buy souvenirs for your family and friends.  At 7 p.m. a farewell dinner is served.
 
Day 11: Flight home
Early in the morning you will be transferred to the airport Manas.
