Day 1: Bishkek
The driver will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. It will take just a 30-minute drive from the airport. Upon arrival, you will have the city tour of Bishkek and visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and so on. The next destination is Asian Bazaar. This place is best for seeing how local life looks like! In the end of day is transfer to a hotel for sleep.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
In the morning you will transferred to Issyk Kul Lake. This outstanding lake is surrounded by the celestial mountains and defined to be the second largest alpine lake in the world of 1608 m. above sea level. It is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". Due to the salty water, it never freezes and can heal body. On way to the lake you will visit Burana Tower of the 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals or stone warriors. In Cholpon Ata town you will visit Rukh Ordo and see the culture and tolerance of religious variety. See ancient stone inscriptions of 800 B.C. These petroglyphs were made more than 2000 years ago by shamans. In addition, you will visit local ethnography museum. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Issyk Kul lake - Kochkor - Son Kul
Today we will drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul. Son Kul lake is walled by mountains. It is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 3 013 meters above sea level. In ancient times Kyrgyz nomads used to come to this area for rest and relaxation. We will have stop in Kochkor village and spend some time with a family. They will teach you how to make our national felt carpets. We will arrive in Son Kul lake and spend night in yurts.
Day 4: Son Kul - Kazarman
This tour will start by travelling to Kazarman village where 93% of Kyrgyzstan is mountainous with nomadic life. This is the best place for those who loves to be close to the nature and open air picnics. You will drive along incredible gorges and see string views of the imposing mountains and gorges. Night is in a homestay.
Day 5: Osh - Uzgen - Djalal Abad - Arslanbob
Today we will drive to Arslanbob walnut forest. It will take 6 hours along a mountain road. On the way we will visit Djalal Abad town and its famous Uzgen Tower originated in 11th century by Karakhanids. See mausoleums that were used as entombment places for the front-runners. Admire the celestial mountains and brilliant panorama views. Arslanbob's grove produces 1500 tons of walnuts per year and it is the largest natural source of walnuts in the World. Overnight is in a homestay.
Day 6: Arslanbob
In the morning we will have a walking tour in Arslanbob walnut forests, taking 11,000 hectares and called the "Royal Woods of Kyrgyzstan". It is must be said that nuts from this area were exported along the Great Silk Road in the Middle Ages. Traversers will relish the pleasing nature and have a hike to a small waterfall. It is best area to communicate with locals. Rest is in a home stay.
Day 7: Arslanbob - Bishkek
In the morning we will drive to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek city. The road to the city goes over the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. On the way see astonishing views of imposing mountains and gorges. Today you will see panoramic views of Tue Ashuu pass of more than 3000 meters high! This road is defined to be one of the most good-looking in Kyrgyzstan. You will have many photo stops and learn more about bizarre roads, remarkable views, nomads, high mountains. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Airport
