Day 1: Almaty - Tamgaly - Altyn Emel
We are happy to see you in Kazakhstan. When you arrive at the airport and you will start exploring the south of Kazakhstan. We will start our way to Altyn Emel national park with stop at Tamgaly Tas on the way. We will pass by artificial Kapshagai water reservoir. It is the biggest in Almaty region, with the casinos of "Kazakh Las Vegas" on its bank. On arrival to Tamgaly Tas, you will walk along the bank of Ili river. Tamgaly Tas - the wonderful monument with images of Buddha's and texts in Tibetan, Kalmyk and other languages. Then we will drive hours to Basshi village, located at the territory of Altyn Emel National Park and have a trip to the Singing Dune. It reaches a height of 150 meters and a length of about 3 km, and situated in one of the corners of the Altyn Emel National Park. This sandy hill contains pure sand, which starts to "sing" in windy weather as the organ music. Then we will return to Basshi village overnight in a local hotel.

Day 2: Altyn Emel
Today we will travel along unpaved park roads of over 80 km (2 hours) to the Aktau Mountains. Aktau Mountains (White Mountains) are known paleontological field. In the deposits of Paleogene lacustrine are well-preserved traces of ancient animals of about 25-30 million years old. There are the remnants the giant rhinos, crocodiles, turtles. These mountains remind the Egyptian pyramids and are a fairylike scene of the variety of shapes and colors. You will walk Martian landscape that necessitates to be attentive on a soft sandy surface and to add some imaginary attending to the guide's stories about populations of an ancient ocean. After sightseeing at Aktau mountains, you will return to Basshi village for sleep.

Day 3: Altyn Emel - Charyn - Almaty  
This tour will start by travelling to Ash-tree Grove on the Temerlik River. In the lower grasps of the Charyn River and its stream Temirlik there is an exclusive place, where rare species of Sogdian Ash-tree are growing. It was said that 5 million years ago a wind gusted a flying seed of Sogdian Ash-tree in this so-called "Valley of Yurts". In 1964 the Ash-tree Grove got the status of the monument of nature. The four trees of about the similar age are enclosed off in the grove. It looks like an open-air museum. Afterwards is transfer to Charyn Canyon. On arrival, you will esteem the impressive panorama and go down the stairs to the bottom of the canyon, then walk around 2 km through the labyrinth of the Castles Valley with its walls of unusual shapes hanging you. Charyn Canyon is an outstanding complex, famous not only in Kazakhstan but also global. It was appeared during Paleogene and looks like the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America, though mediocre to it in size. On this tour you will enjoy seeing the strange towers and columns and capture unforgettable view of wild the nature. Transfer to Almaty and overnight is in a hotel.
