This tour includes visiting two main lakes of our country. First of all you will see the biggest lake Issyk Kul that is surrounded by mountains. Afterwards you will visit our famous Son Kul Lake that is situated on the altitude of 3016 m. asl., where you will eat and sleep in collapsible dwelling which is called yurt and uses people for two thousand years!!!Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek city
Your guide-interpreter meets you at the International Airport Manas and your driver transfer you to the Bishkek city where you start your day from breakfast. The entire day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. National dinner will be at 7 p.m. you will spend the night in a Hotel****.
Day 2: Bishkek - Son Kul Lake
After breakfast we start our way to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. Lunch will be on the way. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and shores of it covered by wonderful flowers at the certain time of year. It is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. Herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. You will get a chance to be nomads eating and sleeping in Kyrgyz dwelling yurts.
Day 3: Son Kul Lake - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
After packing your backpacks time of your breakfast is 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat- Caravanserai which is situated on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle from the 14th century).. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. And it has no analogue in the whole world. It was built of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. In total there are 31 rooms in the mountain. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also underground prison cages for ancient thieves. National dinner will be at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai.
Day 4: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). . At the Kochkorka village you will see family making national Kyrgyz carpets and you will be able to take part in it and create your own carpet. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. You will spend this night in the guest house of Kochkorka village.
Day 5: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
The day begins with breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to the amazing Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second highest lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level). The Lake is also called "Kyrgyz Sea" covering over 6000 km2. On the way you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the Orto Tokoi reservoir. As soon as we are in Tamga village you will have a rest on the beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul it is nit covered with ice in winter. You will have dinner at 7p.m.in Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.
Day 6: Tamga - Karakol
Your breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. After that is free time for swimming in the lake till 12 o'clock. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). You will take lunch in the Karakol. After lunch you will have a guided excursion in Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. His biggest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. Later, you will visit the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Your dinner will be served at 8 p.m.Overnight will be in a guest house
Day 7: Karakol - Bishkek
You will have breakfast at 8 a.m. After the breakfast you will be transferred to Cholpon Ata city along the northern side of wonderful Issyk-Kul Lake(120km). On the way, we will make a short break at 1 pm, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards we will give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. After that you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a picturesque Boom Gorge. Farewell dinner is served at 7 o'clock. Night will be in a Hotel****. Day 8: Bishkek - EuropeYou meet with your guide interpreter and your driver drives you to the International Airport Manas according to the time and details of your flight.
