This tour offers you visiting main sights of our country. You will visit our Burana tower which was built in 11 century; the pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Issik Kul Lake. It is the second largest mountain lake in the world and surrounded by high mountains. Also we are going to show you ancient petrogliphs that are dated to the 8 century B.C. Day 1: Bishkek - Burana Tower - Issyk Kul Lake
Meeting in the airport after that is transfer to the hotel in Cholpon Ata (270km). On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (building of 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Cholpon Ata is the city on the northern shore of the second biggest mountain Lake in the world - Issyk Kul Lake (1600 m. asl .)
Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
After breakfast is transfer to Karakol city. On the way you will visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.) and the local museum. Also as an option you can have an hour on a steam boat to enjoy the beauty of the lake. You will overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
The whole morning you will spend in the Karokol city during an excursion around main sights of the city. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style as a present for local people. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. His biggest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. We will end the City Tour with a traditional lunch and leave Karakol at 1 pm, starting our way to the impressive Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage). Then off to explore the Jeti Oguz valley (Yuri Gagarin's holiday's house, yurts, alpine vegetation) or Chong Kyzyl Suu valley with its hot spring water and geophysics station built in 1948. Then transfer to Tamga village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century. You will be served dinner at the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night; sauna optional.
Day 4: Tamga - Bishkek
After breakfast you will drive along the southern side of Issyk-Kul Lake to Bishkek city. As soon as we are in Bishkek you will have a city tour including lunch. You will see the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the Historical Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places.
Day 5: Bishkek
You meet with your guide interpreter and your driver drives you to the International Airport Manas according to the time and details of your flight.
